Criminal Law

 

We deal with all manner of criminal defense representation in Sumner County, Tennessee.  Criminal matters are heard in the General Sessions and Criminal Courts and include bond hearings, preliminary hearings, probation violations, evidence suppression hearings, and jury trials. 

 

Family Law

 

We deal with all manner of domestic relations issues, including contested and uncontested divorces, child custody matters, child support, orders of protection, dependency and neglect, termination of parental rights, and adoptions.

Civil Disputes

Civil disputes whether arising in contract disputes or tort law.  Such matters include, but are not limited to breach of contract, landlord/tenant disputes, defamation, assault, property damage, property boundary line disputes, injunctions and other restraining orders.

Wills & Trusts

We prepare Wills, general powers of attorney and health care powers of attorney, deeds and other conveyances, living and testamentary trusts (including Medicaid Qualifying Income (Miller) Trusts), conservatorships, and guardianships.

Probate

​

Probate and inheritance matters, whether the deceased left a Will or died intestate, including partitions of real property.

Business Formation & Dissolution

​Partnership agreements, limited liability companies, for-profit corporations, non-profit corporations, IRC 501(c)(3) applications, and dissolution of business associations.
